We’re thrilled to conclude a successful first term and mark the end of the year at Great Gold Mine Academy. Looking ahead to the new year, here’s what’s in store
New Year Prayer
We will observe our traditional fasting and prayer to invite divine guidance and blessings into our plans for a productive and fulfilling year. Specific dates will be shared through our school’s digital calendar.
Online Classes
Regular Monday virtual classes and weekly online assessments will resume, emphasizing the need for individual laptops. Parents are encouraged to ensure their children have personal computers for the coming year.
Tech and Entrepreneurship Classes
We will resume a co-curricular program focusing on developing tech and entrepreneurship skills essential for today’s world.
Open Day and Parents Hangout
Opportunities for parental involvement and engagement in our educational process, dates to be communicated via our digital calendar.
Competitions
Engaging in more competitions to invigorate learning experiences, including Inter-class and school-wide competitions.
Nelson Handwriting
Scheduled training sessions and award presentations for exceptional performance in Nelson handwriting.
Music and Arts
Framework for music and arts classes for interested pupils will be shared on resumption.
Excursions, Radio Programs, and More
Scheduled for the upcoming year to enrich our students’ educational journey.
Important Information
Results and School Fees
First-term results have been dispatched to students’ school email addresses, accessible to parents. Please review your child’s performance and prepare for the new term. Attached to the results are second-term bills . School fee should be paid before resumption or at most resumption week. Toiletries bills should be settled before resumption as well.

Official Dates
The first term officially ends on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023, and the second term commences effectively on January 9th, 2024, with the resumption of tests and drills. All learners are expected to resume on the 9th.

We are still accepting admissions for the ongoing session; visit our admissions page or share it with interested parents. Follow our social media platforms to stay updated with important updates and announcements.
