Background & History
Great Goldmine Academy was created by Executive Director Mrs. GU Ogbonnia, who was inspired by a vision from God to establish a top-tier learning institution for students. Since its establishment on September, 2010, the school has grown exponentially and is now recognized as one of the leading schools in Eastern Nigeria and the country as a whole. The school’s focus is on molding students’ minds, character, and education to help them reach their full potential.
The school was founded on truthful and gracious principles, with the aim of setting every child on a path towards a blessed and successful life. This is reflected in our slogans, “My Child, My Treasure” for parents and “I am a shining light” for learners.
